Repair your windshield before it needs replacing. A windshield repair will save you money and time.
Chips cannot be bigger than a 10 cent piece in diameter for us to repair and also cannot be in line of the driver’s vision due to the safety regulations we normally use the steering wheel as a guideline.
2HOW DO WE REPAIR DAMAGED WINDSHIELD?
We repair windshield with a repair kit that’s mounted onto your windshield in line with the chip then forcing our resin to fill in all the cracks then slowly cured with our ultra UV light.
3WHAT SHOULD YOU DO WHEN YOU GET A CHIP IN YOUR WINDSHIELD?
Normally when a windscreen gets damaged by a rock or is chipped dirt and oils can get into that chip and make the repair not as good as it should be so what we advise is to put a little piece of clear sticky tape over the impact point so no dirt or water gets to it otherwise stop the resin from coming through and you get a better repair.
4HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT AFTER YOUR WINDSHIELD BEEN REPLACED?
Our data sheet explains that 1 hour for single air bags and dual airbags is 2 hour wait till you can drive the vehicle.
5HOW LONG DOES A WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT TAKE? BETWEEN 60 TO 90 MINUTES HOW IS A DOOR GLASS REPAIRED?
The vehicle is firstly inspected for any other damages then is marked on our inspection sheet. Then our auto glass technician will carefully remove any door trim off the vehicle remove any plastic clips vacuum any glass that are left in the bottom of the door and replace it with a new door glass then the door trim is put back.
6CAN CIVIC AUTO GLASS BILL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY?
Yes we can. Civic auto glass is authorized by most major insurance companies for any glass claims. Your insurance company will send you a claim number which we will need to bill them the job to them.
